Ancient Warfare; Alephi had previously been the guard of the Citadel for over a hundred years, raised and groomed in the ways of ancient lore and warfare. Especially Greek and Indian warfare, for him the mythos of the Eastern European and Indian pantheons are very real. He knows of the more occult or esoteric aspects as they pertained to his occupation of protection of the Citadel. His studies have included unarmed and armed combat

 

Tactician; in his duties he has studied the guards before him. As there is one guard at one time, the position required him to study the past guards and their dealings. As a single and lone guard he has to deal with others or groups coming to the Citadel.

 

Entertainment; when he had taken his leave for the next guard to take his place he entered the mortal realms below, where he studied dance and acrobatics. He learned fire dancing while he was with the circus. He is a skilled violinist, even when a hatchling on his world he explored music, he has spent over 148 years cultivating his craft. It is what kep him calm within the Citadel.

 

Weapons Forging; every Nanyrian is given a spear as it’s sole defense aside from the Eternal Flame. Nanyrian guards are natural smiths of metal and forge themselves a series of weapons to aide in the defense of the Citadel.

 

Language; he understands and writes English, Portuguese, Greek, Latin, Sanskrit and sign language or brail.
