LEGACY RELICS
As with any family, items are handed down from relative
to relative. Here is a list of various items passed down to Alephi. when his sister becomes of age and worthy of the long lineage through service she will be given the items much like he was when he has grown to be worthy in his families eyes.
Calcite Orb; holds the essence of the ancestors before him that have died. He can commune with those who have served and existed before him with the item through the ether inside the sphere of calcite.
Morin Jewelery; the jewels with the items made from Morin metal hold the light and darkness within the smiths heart. It holds their very heart and soul. The jewelery can hold the emotions within Alephi's line.
Sealing Vessel; the vessel was forged from his earliest ancestors. The Children of Set sought to get an item from the Reliquary. The vessel contains their legions of serpent men. Forged from celestial glass, gold, prometheum and Iresium. The most precious and mystical materials his people have encountered.
Sythorian Collar; a reminder from the days when mages, wizards and mystics would use items to control the Gorgons who watched the Citadel. The Collar was his great grandmothers. She eventually over came the influence and became free after killing the mystic who placed her in his thrawl.
Onyx Ether; a ring made of prometheum and whose stone holds a fragment of the ebbing darkness that nearly destroyed their world.
Grand Forge; a forge from the earliest days of the Necrotean Guard. The Grand Forge is keeper of the Medusa Armor and Trident of Stars. This Forge was left to Alephi when he became a gaurd of the Citadel.
Grim Reaper; a blade of Prometheum and touched by the venom of Nanas. The blade can cut a normal person and kill them, superhumans or supernatural will eventually fall to the venom if not treated by the elixir of vitae.
Excalibur; no not King Arthur's blade. A blade made in a likeness of the roman era with a touch of alien. The sword was said to be forged by Nanas himself.
Dagger of the Forge of the First Guard; the forge was the first created. The Forge belonged to Nanas. The difference was this forge was made of Nanas himself. It held his power and wisdom. So the mythology says. The relic is the oldest of any relic held by a Gorgon. The item speaks to Alephi and has shared it's power on a few occassions.
Armor of the Five Hearts; Armor worn by Nanas. Or so the legend says. Created from the skins of dead enemies and their metal on them. The armor is infused with energy and is nigh invulnerable.
Helm of Phastos; a helm from the god of night. Invulnerable from harm it protects the user's head. It can shape to the user.
The Lost Ones Armor; armor from an infidel. A mage who made armor from his life force. When it was removed the mage died as his soul resides in the armor. The armor holds the mages soul and mind. The power he held maintains the armor.
Promeatheum Forge; the rarest metal on Pathor was forged into Alephi's own forge. Embued by blood to become his forever and always. His was a forge made for him by Ophim himself and blessed by Shiva, Zues, and Onyr of the Sky.
Dagger of the Storm; the dagger of Nanas which held the storm he created to exile the demon hordes of Inyr.
The winds within the blade are strong and they move with intense ferocity.
Nanyrian Keys; each great house had a key to open the greatest treasure known to them, the tomb of their ancestors. The keys are shaped into five swords, each sword made of a sacred element and can be used to access the tomb of the ancestors, the contents are unknown and very ancient. But they were stolen millenia ago, by Ophim and Genora during the festival of gratitude. Ophim placed the swords in Alephi's Forge prior to the Necrotean Coronation ceremony for his interned service.
Black Blade; the blade is a relative new relic. It was smithed by his grandfather. The blade seems hyper futuristic for the time, however Gorgon are more advanced a species. Purebreeds at the very least, hybrids are more agro or less advanced.
